On March 9, 2024, Anne Orem Hall, Age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior. She was born to Joe and Margaret Orem on January 8, 1930, in Campbellsburg, Ky.

 

Anne was a lifetime member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church where she served as a deacon. She was a homemaker, church secretary, grocery store checker, clerk at the County Clerk’s office and an avid Cincinnati Bengals fan. Anne worked with her husband, Grant, at their Marathon and Phillips 66 service stations in Campbellsburg in the 50’s and 60’s. At the Henry County Country Club, Anne loved playing golf, and she was the Ladies Club Champion for three years. In her later years, Anne enjoyed spending time with her cat, Zoey, at Twin Oaks.

 

Anne was preceded in death by her husband, Grant; her parents, Joe and Margaret Orem; one brother, Joe N. Orem (Jean) and one Sister, Sue Wade (Bob).

 

She is survived by one son, Joe Hall (Mary Kay) of Nicholasville; one daughter, Suzanne Nelson (Ed) of Bethlehem; three grandchildren, Holly Holman (Mark) of Boise, Idaho, Andrew “A.J.” Nelson (Dalisha) and Abbie Garrett (Steven) of Pendleton; and five great-grandchildren.
