Catherine Ursula (Cartwright) Adams

Catherine Ursula (Cartwright) Adams, age 90 of Eminence, passed away on Saturday, August 22, 2026. Daughter of the late Cleatis and Helen (Grimes) Cartwright, she was a member of the Eminence Christian Church for over 70 years. She joined the church in 1954. She was a Honorary Kentucky Colonel. Catherine retired from the Commonwealth of Kentucky with over 28 years of service. She retired from the Eminence Baptist Church with 24 years of service. She loved playing cards with her many cherished friends. Catherine lived for her faith, family and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Allen Adams, and a grandson, Jonathan Carroll Adams.

Funeral Service: 11 Am on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at Eminence Christian Church.

Visitation: 5 PM to 8 PM on Monday, August 24, 2026, at Eminence Christian Church.

Interment: Eminence Cemetery

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Eminence Christian Church Scholarship Fund (in memory of her late grandson, Jonathan Carroll Adams).
