Connie (Jeffries) Ramsey

Connie (Jeffries) Ramsey, passed away peacefully, surrounded by love and family.

Born in Eminence, Kentucky, Connie was a proud graduate of Eminence High School, Class of 1963. She was the daughter of the late Jack W. & Juanita (Casey) Jeffries.  She later worked as a legal secretary and court stenographer. Connie shared 59 devoted years of marriage with her beloved husband, James “Sonny” Ramsey, and together they made their home in Simpsonville, Kentucky.

Connie had a gentle spirit and found joy in gardening, painting, relaxing at the beach, and, most of all, spending treasured time with her family—especially her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

She is survived by her loving husband, James “Sonny” Ramsey; her son, Timothy Ramsey of Zionsville, Indiana; her daughter, Tammy Bobbitt (Brad) of Cincinnati, Ohio; and her three cherished grandsons, Oliver Ramsey, Tyler Bobbitt, and Orion Ramsey.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Connie Ramsey’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
