David Elliot Christianson

David Elliot Christianson, age 75 of New Castle passed away Monday, July 20, 2026. David was a 20-year veteran of the US Navy and then pursued a work career as a computer technician. He was the son of the late Gaines Morton & Bettie Ruth (Benson) Crook. David was preceded in death by his parents, his siblings Gaines Mark Crook (Debbie), Joel Hunter Crook (Cynthia), Charles Arthur Crook and Joshua Conrad Lee Crook, and his late wife Tina Joan Lindelien.

David is survived by his wife of 25 years, Peggy (Hoffman) Christianson of New Castle, KY and his former wife, Mami Ozaki Crook, children Adriana Sewell of Arlington, WA, Joseph Ozaki (Chiemi) of Japan, Sayo Crook (Ilnam Dickson) of Japan, step-children Jessica Shafer (Barry) of Middletown, Ohio, Vanessa Hutchison of Springfield, MO, Justin Vargas (Alexis) of Wesley Chapel, FL, grandchildren Lloyd, Arden, Mabel and Wyatt Sewell, Leon Ozaki and Nami Dickson, step-grandchildren Reade and Rachel Shafer, Savanna, Colton and Wyatt Hutchison, Harper and Gus Bilyeu, Eli, Joy and Gia Vargas, sister-in-law Debbie Brower Crook Scott, nieces Gina Eves (Chris), Jennifer Crook Yonkich (Doug), Ashley Singleton (Mike) and Angelica Crook.

Visitation will take place Friday, August 14 at 10:00 AM with a Memorial Service to follow at 11:00 AM at Prewitt Funeral Home, 425 N Main St, New Castle, KY 40050.

Graveside Service will take place at 2:30 PM at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, 2501 N Dixie Blvd., Radcliff, KY 40160.
