David E. Woodrum

David E. Woodrum, age 60 passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2026. David was a heavy equipment operator for several years. He was the son of the late Arnold Edmond & Pansy (Viers) Woodrum. David enjoyed playing music, fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his grandchildren.

Wife: Michelle (Mahoney) Woodrum of New Castle

Daughters: Ashley Woodrum of Louisville, Brittany Holcomb of New Castle and Tiffany Mahoney of New Castle

Sons: David Woodrum (Shelbie) of Campbellsburg and Frankie Holcomb of New Castle

Sister: Tammy Sullivan (Keith) of Liberty

Grandchildren: Emily, Teagan, Blane, Chesney, Stella, Nasir & Nova

There will be a Celebration of Life from 1:00 to 6:00 pm Sunday, January 11, 2026 at the New Castle Locker (24 S. Main Street, New Castle)

There will be no visitation or service at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
