Donald Lee “Donnie” Webster, 87 of Eminence passed away peacefully with family at
his side on May 19, 2026. Donnie was born in Port Royal to the late Cecil and Evelyn
(Raisor) Webster.
For 38 years his family business, Webster Service, was known by farmers far and wide
as the tractor mechanics to turn to when all others had “thrown in the towel” on difficult
repairs. Donnie’s customers faithfully supported his business and most became dear
friends. Webster Service was known not only for their excellent work, but also for warm
fellowship and often a hot meal cooked right there at the shop... served with a smile
and free of charge. Donnie served as a cook and large equipment mechanic in the US
Army and carried those skills throughout his life. When asked about retirement, he
would reply, “Why would I retire when I like to work on tractors? My customers are my
closest friends!”
As much as Donnie enjoyed his work, his family was his pride and joy. His happiest
days were spent hunting, fishing, visiting, playing Bluegrass music, cooking and
celebrating special occasions with loved ones. His country hams were the highlight of
countless holiday meals!
Donnie was preceded in death by his wife of 52 years, Louise (Wilson) Webster;
beloved daughter, Lisa Michelle Berry; brothers, Vivian Ray Webster and Oren “Boz”
Webster; sisters, Judy Robison, Sandra Staten, Mary Louden and Deanie Wolfe.
Survivors include sons, Randy (Diana) Berry, Tony (Jo Lynn) Berry and Steve (Billie)
Webster; grandchildren, Chad Mattingly, Tara Wright, PT Webster, Chantz Berry, Skylar
Berry, Sydney Berry and Olivia Berry; brothers, Everett Webster; sisters, Vicky Feller
and Wilma Suter and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23 and will continue until the funeral
service at 1:00 p.m. at Prewitt’s Funeral Home, 425 N. Main St., New Castle, KY 40050.
