Donald "Donnie" Norton

Donald “Donnie” Norton , age 82 of Eminence, passed away on Monday, December 9, 2024.  Son of the late Robert and Myrtle (Young) Norton, he was a life-long farmer and a member of Smithfield Christian Church.  Donnie was a dedicated daily reader of newspapers & was an avid sports fan.  He was preceded in death by a sister, Sue Carol Powell; and brother, Clarence Scott.

Wife of 64 years:   Barbara Ann Norton of Eminence

Daughters:   Jennifer Brown (Joseph) of Eminence

Pam Holcomb (Ricky) of Eminence

Son:            Dusty Norton of Eminence

6 Grandchildren            9 Great-Grandchildren       1 Great-Great-Grand-Daughter

Funeral Service: 1 PM on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Jakob Beckley.

Honorary Pallbearers: Becky Allen, Kennedy Brown, Khloe Brown & Tonya Brummer

Pallbearers: Josh Holcomb, Jeremy Holcomb, Jacob Holcomb,                                                                              Tony Whaley, Ronnie Armstrong & Ray Powell

Interment: New Castle Cemetery

Memorial Contributions: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital

Visitation: 10 AM until service time on Saturday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
