Ferenc "Frank" X. Vegh, Sr.

Ferenc “Frank” X. Vegh, Sr., age 90 of LaGrange passed away Monday, March 23, 2026. Frank was a welder with BF Goodrich for 17 years. He was a US Army veteran & also served in the Hungarian Army. He enjoyed his time in his vineyard and farming. He was the son of the late Mihály & Julianna (Király) Végh and was preceded in death by two sisters, Mária Szabó and Julianna Felena and a brother, Mihály Végh.

Daughter: Stephanie V. Moorman of Shelbyville

Sons: Ferenc X. Vegh, Jr. of Shelbyville

Eric M. Vegh (Lori) of Eminence

Christopher D. Vegh of Port Royal

Grandchildren: Kate Doane (Matt), Emily Payton (Jared), Rachel Cruse (Robbie), Danielle Moorman (Parker Palmer) & Nathan Vegh

Great Grandchildren: Julianna Doane, Emilia Doane, Jack Payton, Isla Doane & Ben Payton

Funeral Mass: 11 AM Monday, March 30, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. 

There will be a bereavement meal directly following Mass at the church followed by 3pm Graveside at Resthaven Memorial Park.

Pallbearers: Matt Doane, Jared Payton, Robbie Cruse, Parker Palmer, Nathan Vegh & Ferenc Weiger

Interment: Resthaven Memorial Park
