Garrett Woods, 77, of New Castle, Kentucky, passed away peacefully at home on September 18th, 2026.
Born on July 5th, 1949 in Jersey City, New Jersey to William and Gloria Woods, Garrett went on to have a 40+ year career as a Respiratory Therapist. He served the local community with pride and a dedication to his patients.
He is survived by his children G Taylor Woods and Paul (Lauren) Schnitzen; three grandchildren; and his sister Monique "Woods" Plopan. He was preceded in death by his parents and Spouse of 35 years, Dea Woods.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 16th from 11a to 1p at Prewitt Funeral Home in New Castle.
