Iva Woods

Iva Woods,  Age 74, of Smithfield, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2026. Iva was a teacher for almost 30 years, but devoted her life to shaping young minds not only in the school but also in her church and community. She loved life, people, travel, and most of all her family. She radiated optimism and positivity in all facets of her life. She was a bright light who will be missed by all of the lives she touched.

She was a member of Smithfield Baptist Church. She was the daughter of the late Ralph G. and Lucille (Gabhart) Tindall

Sister: Judy Scriber of New Castle

Celebration of Life: Monday, June 29. 2026 2:00 PM at Smithfield Baptist Church.

Form of Contributions in Iva’s name may be given to Smithfield Baptist Church

Visitation: Monday June 29, 2026 from 10:00 AM until time of service at Smithfield Baptist Church.
