Larry K. Heilgendorf

Larry K. Heilgendorf, age 76 of LaGrange passed away Sunday, May 3, 2026. He worked on the Family farm and was a volunteer fireman on the Waubeka, WI Fire Department until 1993. After 5 years in Holt, MO, he moved to LaGrange in 1998, where Larry worked at Walmart for 20 years in Tire Lube Express and a greeter, until his retirement in 2018. He loved gardening, traveling, hiking, being outdoors, and watching old westerns.

Larry was an active and devoted member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, where he found spiritual peace in worship, bible study, fellowship over coffee and doughnuts and serving as an usher for >25 years. He was also a proud member of AA for 40 years. Larry was the son of the late Hilbert and Hilde (Parnitzke) Heilgendorf. Larry was cremated.

Dawn Heilgendorf of Sheyboygan, Wisconsin

Brother: Bryan Heilgendorf of Sheyboygan, Wisconsin

Grandchildren: Krista, Lily & James McDonald

There will be a memorial service Friday, June 5th, 2026 at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Visitation from 10 AM to 11 AM with a service at 11 AM. There will be a lunch following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 2416 KY-53, LaGrange, KY 40031.
