Linda Colleen (LeCompte) Barwick

Linda Colleen (LeCompte) Barwick, age 76 of Georgetown, passed away on Thursday, June 12, 2025. Daughter of the late Thomas & Edith (Capito) LeCompte, Linda was a member of the Georgetown Baptist Church. She was a graduate of EKU with a BA Degree and WKU where she received her Masters Degree in Education. She was a teacher for 29 years and taught at several schools covering two states. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Portland Indiana Garden Club. Linda loved baking, traveling and especially spending time with her family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry LeCompte.

Great Grandchildren: Beckham, Banks, Lyla, Kamen & Aryiah

Funeral Service: 11 AM on Monday, June 16, 2025, at Georgetown Baptist Church (207 South Hamilton Street), with Dr. Patrick DeVane officiating and Rev. Ken Holden and Rev. Tim Shindler, assisting.

Graveside Service: 3 PM Monday, June 16, 2025, at New Castle Cemetery (947 N. Main St., New Castle, KY)

Pallbearers: Bryan Doll, Shannon Boren, Braxten Leff, Lance Shelton, Sterling Boren, Spencer Boren & Brody Doll
