Mary (Troxell) Bowman, age 90 of Eminence passed away Wednesday, December 17, 2025. Mary was a member of Henry Christian Church. She was the daughter of the late Jack & Lillie (Bates) Troxell and was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Bowman and two sons, Jack & Marvin Jay Bowman.
She is survived by a granddaughter, Sue Ellen Bowman of Eminence whom she raised. Also survived by a daughter, Mary Sue Harp of Shelbyville; son, John Lee Bowman of Franklinton; sister, Susie Troxell of Eminence; two brothers, Jay “Bobby” Troxell of Eminence & Johnnie Troxell of Monticello and several grandchildren & great grandchildren.
There will be no visitation or services by request of Mary.
She will be buried in Cropper Cemetery between her husband and stepson.
