Myrtle (Downey) Sallee, age 84 of Eminence passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026. She was the daughter of the late Marvin, Sr. and Ida (Moppins) Downey and was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Sue (Stodghill) Lara.
Myrtle is survived by a son, Donnie Ray Stodghill; grandchildren and great grandchildren and several siblings.
A special thanks to the nursing staff at The Richwood for her special care.
Funeral Service: 11 AM Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Officiated Rev. Clint Walker of Eminence Baptist Church
Burial: New Castle Cemetery
Visitation: 9 AM Tuesday until service time at the Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
