Pamela Aileen Welp

Pamela Aileen (Nichols) Welp, age 58 of New Albany passed away Thursday, July 16, 2026. Pamela was a Christian woman whose faith was an important part of her life, Pamela devoted much of her life caring for others. She got her master’s in education and loved teaching. She adopted three siblings- Britney, Abbi, and Rodney- and raised them through most of their childhood. She was also a loving dog mom to many cherished Shih Tzus over the years. She collected ceramic dolphins and unicorns, and loved butterflies. In her free time, she enjoyed doing puzzles, going to car races with her daughter Abbi, and playing bingo. Pamela was the daughter of the late Eugene Nichols & Carol (Schott) Nichols.
