Aunt Pat passed on Thanksgiving Day 2025. She toiled ceaselessly on the farm, beautifying and stewarding her family home place in Turners Station, striving daily to leave a legacy of work ethic, frugality and elegance. Her last years were plagued by illness but until the very end, that was not evident by observation. She veiled pain, and remained disciplined in her stewardship of the land and concern for her people.
She was preceded in death by her son John Allen Stewart, brother Ben Ed Doll, mother and father Ed and Della Doll.
She is survived by her brother Mike Doll (Cathy), nephews Brook (Alana), Ben and Bryan (Rebecca), great nephews and nieces Johnny (Maggie) Doll, Dylan (McKayla) Doll and Brody Doll, Haley (Braxten) Leff, and McKenzie (Lance) Shelton.
She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. The landscape here is replete with object reminders of her work and her example abides in the hearts of those who loved her.
A private memorial and gospel presentation will be held in Turners Station, Ky on Sunday, December 7th.
