Phillip L. Brierly, Sr.

Phillip L. Brierly, Sr., age 76 of Smithfield passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026. He was a Sawyer with CA Gardner Veneer for several years. He loved woodworking, auctions, hunting, fishing and spending time with his family. Phillip was the son of the late George & Myrtle Brierly and was preceded in death by his wife, Rita Noel Brierly; two sisters, Louise Cox & Frances Brown; two brothers, Alvin & Lloyd Brierly and a step-daughter, Janie Bramblett.

Funeral Service: 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 18, 2026 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Officiated by Bro. Paul Briscoe.

Interment: Smithfield Cemetery
