Raymond Lee "Ray" Cundiff

Raymond Lee “Ray” Cundiff, age 79 of Pendleton passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Ray was construction worker and was a pool installer. He enjoyed playing cards and working on old cars. He was the son of the late Robert & Florence (Browning) Cundiff. Ray was raised by an awesome foster couple, Mr. & Mrs. Stairs. He was preceded in death by a sister, three brothers and one half brother.

Wife of 55 years: Mattie Cundiff of Pendleton

Daughter: Wanda Hardin of LaGrange

Sons: Darrell Cundiff (Sandra Wills) of Trimble County

Charles French (Angela) of Louisville

Brother: Steve Cundiff of Mt. Washington

7 Grandchildren & 4 Great Grandchildren

Funeral Service: 2 PM Friday, March 6, 2026 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home. Officiated by Brenda Barnes Ingram

Visitation: 12 Noon until service time on Friday at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
