Shirley Sills

Shirley Sills, age 95 of LaGrange passed away Friday, January 16, 2026. Shirley was a native of Saginaw, Michigan. She was an Educator and a director of Special Education for 24 years in Oldham County. She was a former President of the Henry County Historical Society and a member of LaGrange Christian Church. She was the daughter of the late Milton Scott & Grace Elizabeth (Rutherford) McCloy and was preceded in death by her husband, John A. Sills and brother, Robert Milton McCloy.

Survived by niece, nephews and cousins.

There’ll be a Private Celebration of Life at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be given to the Henry County Historical Society or LaGrange Christian Church.

There will be no visitation or service at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home
