Sonny Briley

Sonny Briley, age 86 of Eminence passed away Wednesday, February 25, 2026. Sonny was a Vietnam Navy Veteran; a member of Pt. Pleasant Christian Church and retired from Ford Motor Company. He was also member of the Henry County Rod & Gun Club and a proud member of AA for 24 years. He especially enjoyed his fishing and watching his grandsons play ball. Sonny was the son of the late Henry & Melba (Smith) Briley and was preceded in death by his sister, JoAnn McKinney.

Wife: Linda (Nolin) Briley of Eminence

Daughter: Susan Higdon (Eddie) of Pendleton

Son: Brandon Briley of LaGrange

Grandsons: Levi Nolan & Waylon Garrett Higdon

Celebration of Life Service: 4:00 PM Saturday, February 28, 2026 at Pt. Pleasant Christian Church. Officiated by Pastor Carla D’Alessio and Michael Allen.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Pt. Pleasant Christian Church, PO Box 95, Eminence, KY 40019.

Memorial Visitation: 2:00 to 4:00 PM at Pt. Pleasant Christian Church. There will be a meal and fellowship following the service at the church.
