Violet "Tina" Purvis

Violet “Tina” Purvis, age 79 of Eminence passed away Wednesday, August 5, 2026. Tina worked at Eminence Speaker for 20+ years. She was the daughter of the late Myron & Gertrude (Brundage) Carman and preceded in death by her husband, Donald Lee Purvis; daughter, Tina Marie Purvis; sisters, Wanda Cisneros, Joy James, Donna Edwards and brother, Larry Carman.

Barbara Ann (Purvis) Bayne (Steve Hudson) of Eminence

Step-Children: Keightley Purvis, Donnie Purvis & Cindy (Purvis) Harbaugh

2 Grandchildren: Michael Preston & Brittany Moore (Robert)

3 Great-Granchildren: Braxton, Bentley & Khyia Moore

Several step grandchildren & step great-grandchildren.

Sisters: June Badger, Judy Moss, Phyllis Bennett & Gale Powell

Brother: Willis Carman

There will be a Celebration of Life at a later date.

There will be no visitation at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home.
