Wanda June (Hubbard) Hambel

Wanda June (Hubbard) Hambel , age 80 of Shelbyville (formerly of New Castle) passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024.  Daughter of the late Thomas and Lula Rowena (Simpson) Hubbard, she had a life-long love of horses and was an Equestrian Analyst in the horse racing industry.   She was a collector of antiques and loved to fish!  She was a member of Faith Assembly Church in Charlestown, IN.  Wanda was preceded in death by a niece, Angie Peters, and a brother-in-law, Mark Powell.

Funeral Service: 12 Noon on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at Prewitt New Castle Funeral Home, officiated by Bro. Rodney Jones.

Pallbearers: Jeffrey Armstrong, Kolton Armstrong, Chris Rice, Michael Burba,

Wade Preston, Daniel Burke & Devin Griffith

Interment: Sulphur Cemetery

Visitation: 4-8 PM on Friday, November 15, 2024, and after 10 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2024, at the funeral home.
