Webb Yager Suter, age 91, of Campbellsburg, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 19, 2026. He leaves behind a legacy of devotion, hard work, and a deep love for his family.

A man of quiet strength and varied interests., Webb dedicated his life to serving others. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, a member of the Campbellsburg Baptist Church, and a Lifetime Member of the Masonic Lodge. He was a USDA Federal Meat Inspector for over 40 years and a farmer.

An avid reader with an adventurous spirit, Webb found immense joy in nature. He loved to fish from the serene lakes of Canada to the deep seas of Florida, and everywhere in between. Yet, of all the places he traveled, his favorite place to be was on the farm.

Above all his achievements, Webb was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was a pillar of love and support for his family, and nothing brought a bigger smile to his face than having his grandchildren and great-grandchildren by his side, teaching them to garden and sharing the simple pleasures of farm life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Webb Rowlett and Sylvia Alvine (Yager) Suter.

Webb’s memory will be forever cherished by his loving wife of more than 64 years, Diane (Wiedo) Suter; his three children, Melissa Beckley (Keith) of Crestwood, April (Suter) Button of Campbellburg and John Suter (Dawn) of Campbellsburg; his seven grandchildren: Blake Button (Kayla Graham), Brooke Bryant (Skyler), Nick Suter (Dillon), Lindsey Eversole (J.R.), Rachel Stotts (Oliver), Kaitlyn Kamer and Bobby Beckley (Liz);; and his eight great-grandchildren: Camden, Skylynn, Jane, Eli, Emrin, Raela, Gage and Hadley; his brother Gene Suter (Barbara) of Campbellsburg and his sister Linda Harris of Carrollton, along with a host of extended family and dear friends.
