Wilbur Taylor Arington, age 96 of Smithfield, passed away Friday, January 23, 2026. Wilbur attended Henry Christian Church & Bedford Springs Church. He was a life long farmer; enjoyed his cattle farming, watching Old Western movies and dancing. He worked for the State Hwy Road Dept; also hauled feed for Smithfield Mill; drove a school bus & milk truck for several years. Son of the late Wilbur Tandy & Sherley (Taylor) Arington. He was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years, Suzanna "Sue" (Payton) Arington and wife of 3 years, Delores Shuck and daughter, Jayola Arington.
